1. Purpose of the App

The CenterPeace Wellness app provides general emotional check-ins, wellness tools, and educational content to support self-awareness and emotional well-being. It is intended for informational and personal development purposes only. It is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or professional mental health treatment.

2. No Therapist–Client Relationship

Using this app does not create a therapist–client or provider–patient relationship with CenterPeace Psychological Assessment & Counseling Services, LLC, or any of its clinicians. Any use of this app is not considered or intended to be professional mental health care.

3. Not for Emergencies

This app does not provide crisis or emergency services.
If you are in danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), 911, or your local emergency services immediately.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use this app only for lawful, personal wellness purposes.
You are responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of the app or its content. You agree not to misuse the app or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way.

5. Accuracy and Educational Nature of Content

All materials and information within the app are provided for general educational and wellness purposes only.
While CenterPeace strives to ensure accuracy and quality, we make no representations, warranties, or guaranteesabout the completeness, reliability, or applicability of the content.
Information may become outdated or may not apply to every situation or individual.

6. No Guarantee of Results

Wellness tools and exercises within the app are intended to promote awareness and self-reflection. Individual results will vary.
CenterPeace makes no guarantee that use of the app will result in any specific emotional, psychological, or behavioral outcome.

7. Notifications and Reminders

By using the app, you may receive optional notifications, reminders, or motivational prompts. These are meant for general encouragement and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All app content, including design, text, logos, graphics, and features, is the property of CenterPeace Psychological Assessment & Counseling Services, LLC and protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify app content without written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The app may use secure third-party tools (such as cloud hosting, analytics, or technical support providers) to operate effectively.
These services follow standard privacy and security practices.
CenterPeace is not responsible for the content, performance, or privacy policies of third-party services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

By using the app, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CenterPeace Psychological Assessment & Counseling Services, LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) resulting from your use or misuse of the app.

CenterPeace may update, change, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

13. Eligibility

This app is intended for users 13 years and older.
If you are under 18, use the app only with the guidance or consent of a parent or guardian.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes or claims arising out of or related to the use of this app shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, USA.
